Teacher Required For the Academic Year 2014-2015January 2015 to June 2015Fort Severn, OntarioTeacher Grade 7/8 Combined Wasaho First Nation Elementary School invites applicants for one teacher; a grade 7 and 8 combined teaching position. Must be a qualified teacher; Must follow the prescribed curriculum of Ministry of Education for Ontario; Must be committed to completing the teaching contracted year; Must be willing to include family and community members in classroom activities; Must be willing to implement First Nations culture into curriculum; Must have a working knowledge of Canadian First Nations cultures and history; Must have respect and be sensitive to First Nations Traditional Values and Culture; Must have high standards and expectations for academic achievement, especially in the areas of literacy and numeracy; Must have excellent classroom management skills and ability in utilizing positive classroom management strategies; Must have experience with behaviorally difficult students; Must accommodate and include special needs children by adjusting teaching styles and curriculum as required for inclusion.
