On behalf of the remote fly-in First Nations communities of Kingfisher Lake and Wunnumin Lake in Northern Ontario, Shibogama Education invites applications for 2 Primary/Junior teaching positions for the following:- MaryAnn Aganash Memorial School (Kingfisher Lake, ON) needs a Grade 3/4 teacher and,- Lydia Lois Beardy Memorial School (Wunnumin Lake, ON) needs a Grade 2 teacher.The schools are administered as a band operated school by Local Education AuthoritiesOur average school size is about 90 -130 students.Previous teaching experience in a northern First Nations setting is a definite assetWe are seeking a First Nation primary/junior teachers who are fluent in a native languageBut we strongly encourage any interested candidate to apply Candidates must be a member and in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers or be eligible for membership.
