In this role you will: Provide supervision, guidance, intervention and instruction for students who are deafblind, in planned and organized programs in a residential setting; Plan, organize and implement customized individual and group life skills, recreational and developmental programs designed to meet the personal, social, emotional and developmental needs of students who are deafblind and who may have additional challenges; Supervise, guide and instruct residential students who are deafblind; Provide sound physical care and maintain a safe/secure environment for residential students who are deafblind; Assist students who are deafblind with the development of personal hygiene skills.How do I qualify?Qualifications: Your background and experience enables you to meet the following requirements: Mandatory: community college certificate and/or equivalent training, education and working experience in a child related field; current First Aid, CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention and/or Behaviour Management Training or equivalent.
