AERO Business Support Join the Provincial Schools Branch to provide technical business support to the Alternate Educational Resources of Ontario (AERO) initiativeAERO is responsible for providing textbooks in accessible formats including Braille, digital audio, PDF and other options to ensure students across Ontario can access appropriate learning materials.What can I expect to do in this role?In this role, you will: coordinate and resolve issues encountered by AERO users perform on-site analysis, diagnosis and resolution of complex problems for end-users recommend and implement corrective solutions liaise and assist AERO clients in problem solving, operational strategies and training Location: 255 Ontario Street South, Milton, OntarioHow do I qualify?Technical Expertise: You have: knowledge of virtualization software VMWARE ESXi knowledge of operating systems, network protocols and software suites and applications to install, configure, test, maintain, monitor and troubleshoot workstations and respond to a broad range of requests regarding network/desktop support an understanding of installation, support and implementation of assistive devices and alternative format production technologiesPresentation and Communication Skills:You have: knowledge of techniques and tools required to deliver presentations and facilitate training sessions using a variety of instructional tools communications skills to respond effectively in person, over the phone or in writing to end-users interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with teams and end-usersAnalytical and Problem-Solving Skills:You have: analytical and problem-solving skills to determine and provide remedies to a wide range of issues and complex user problems Note: The successful candidate will be required to provide an original, satisfactory Criminal Reference Check, including Vulnerable Sector Screening (dated within the last six months) as deemed suitable by the Employer prior to the commencement of employment Salary range: $1,052.90 $1,291.12 per week
