Experienced High School Visual Arts Teacher (AVI3M, AVI4M)-Starting FebruaryClinton International College is a boutique high school emphasizing student care and engagementClinton is conveniently located in the heart of North York, beside the Yonge/Sheppard subway.Clinton is currently looking for an experienced, bright, and enthusiastic Visual Arts Teacher to teach High School Program (Gr.9-12) credit courses and tutor studentsTeachers must possess the following 3 attributes 1) able to inspire students to learn 2) are positive and enthusiastic 3) patient and engaging.Availability:Be able to start February every Saturday 10am to 5pm until May.Qualifications: Ontario Certified Teachers (OCT) preferred, but will consider teachers/tutor with excellent teaching approach and 2+ years successful teaching experience Must be familiar with the Ministry of Education Curriculum and Growing Success Must be able to incorporate Growing Success Assessment as/for/of Learning into Lessons Must have experience teaching Visual Arts Grade 11/12 Outstanding expertise in specified subject and ability to provide effective experiential learning Enthusiastic and positive attitude, highly responsible; able to motivate and inspire students Responsible and passionate about teaching Able to help students with diverse educational backgrounds and learning abilitiesJob Description: Teach Ontario Secondary School Curriculum at a high level of proficiency Assess and identify students' individual learning needs Teach students using a variety of techniques: lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations Assign and correct homework, provide feedback to contribute to students' progress.
