Richmond Hill Montessori & Elementary Private Schools' (RHMS) mission is to be a caring community of educators dedicated to enabling each student to develop their intellectual, creative, and physical potential while fostering a passion for life and its wonderful challenges.RHMS is looking for a Supply Teacher with a Primary/Junior Science background to join our caring community; primarily a person who has a passion in assisting children in reaching their full potentialQualifications: Primary/junior qualifications Ontario Teaching Certification (OCT) in good standing Qualifications in teaching Science Experience in a lab environment Fully competent in using all instruments 1-2 years of teaching Science in a lab environment Excellent oral, written, communication and presentation skills Computer Literacy: Proficient and knowledgeable with Word Processors, Spreadsheets, Email, Internet, Smart Boards Characteristics of the Ideal Candidate: Creative, imaginative and incorporates a positive approach in teaching Resourceful and eager to implement Science ideas school wide and in the community Excellent classroom management skills Great organization and planning skills Thrives in a positive team environment Experience with building rapport and communicating effectively with parents Easily adapts to new things Confidence in providing solutions when issues arise Works with high standard of integrityPlease note: Supply staff will be considered first for full-time teaching positions at RHMS.Hours & Salary Hours: 8:30 a.mto 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday as neededHourly Rate: $25.04 per hour
