HOURS OF WORK: Part-time up to 24 hours per week Reporting to the Fitness Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning and leading safe, effective and enjoyable exercise classes (Aerobic or Aquafitness) by providing excellent leadership, up-to-date quality instruction, and high-energy motivationDuties will also include educating the participants in the correct exercise techniques including the importance/benefits of exercise, complete all necessary forms/accident reports, be willing and available to answer participants questions/queries, participate in all mandatory staff training and meetings, maintain all current certifications and send updated copies to the Fitness Supervisor, assist in finding class coverage if necessaryYou must have a current Fitness Instructor or Aquafitness Instructor certification, a Standard First Aid and CPR certification, and previous experience teaching Fitness ClassesYou are a punctual, cooperative, organized, enthusiastic individual with excellent customer service and time management skillsAs a condition of employment, the successful candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector CheckApplicants must be willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends/We thank all candidates for their interest, however, only those under consideration will be contacted./ /The Town of Richmond Hill is committed to inclusive, barrier-free recruitment and selection processesIf contacted to participate in the recruitment and selection process, please advise Human Resources if you require an accommodation./
