Experienced High School Chemistry Teacher/Tutor (Starting September)Clinton International College is a boutique high school emphasizing student care and engagement Clinton is conveniently located in the heart of North York, beside the Yonge/Sheppard subwayClinton is currently looking for an experienced, bright, and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to teach Gr.11-12 High School credit courses and tutor studentsTeachers must possess the following 3 attributes 1) able to inspire students to learn 2) are positive and enthusiastic 3) patient and engaging.Availability:Be able to start immediately (1st/2nd week of September) and accommodate some evening and weekend hours.Qualifications: Ontario Certified Teachers (OCT) preferred, but will consider teachers/tutor with excellent teaching approach and 2+ years successful teaching experience Must be familiar with the Ministry of Education Curriculum and Growing Success Must be able to incorporate Growing Success Assessment as/for/of Learning into Lessons Must have experience teaching or tutoring Gr.9-12 Chemistry Outstanding expertise in subject area and ability to provide effective experiential learning Enthusiastic and positive attitude, highly responsible; able to motivate and inspire students Responsible and passionate about teaching Able to help students with diverse educational backgrounds and learning abilitiesJob Description: Teach Ontario Secondary School curriculum at a high level of proficiency Assess and identify students' individual learning needs Teach students using lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations Assign and correct homework, provide feedback to contribute to students' progress.
