Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-timeAnticipated start date: June 15, 2015Job Responsibilities:1.Coordinate the IB Diploma Programme;2.Maintain effective communication with the IB regional office and other offices;3.Maintain effective communication with school administrators, teachers, support staff as well as students;4.Ensure that all IB policies and regulations are adhered to;5.Create and maintain accurate student records and monitor student achievement;6.Provide pedagogical support for teachers;7.Encourage and facilitate collaborative planning through the scheduling of teacher meetings and professional development seminars;8.Register teachers and other staff for IB-recognized professional development workshops;9.Develop and manage the Diploma Program budget;10.Promote the Diploma Programme by providing information for community members, prospective students and parents;11.Assist with staff and student recruitment;12.Oversee the Creativity, Action, Service (CAS) and Extended Essay (EE) coordinators;13.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:1.Master's degree or above from an accredited university;2.Experience with the IB Diploma Program a mustPreference will be given to those with IB Diploma Program classroom teaching experience;3.Experience with the Ontario secondary school system highly desirable;4.Knowledge of school organization and current trends in the area of secondary school education;5.Preference will be given to candidates who have received IB-recognized training;6.Ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-cultural environment;7.Must be fluent in English and Mandarin.
