RESPONSIBILITIES: Planning, assigning, directing and coordinating work.Monitoring product development stability program as per study conditions or ICH conditionsConducting scientific research for the development of in-vitro analytical techniques to support innovation, expedite the development process of new products and reduce development cost.Performing activities using scientific risk based assessment approach and appropriate experimental design toolsPlanning, designing, implementing and analysing laboratory experimentation to advance scientific knowledge of drug substances or techniques to aid in the development of new products or improvement of existing products.Ensuring deliverables and quality standards are achievedPrepares and conducts performance evaluations for employees.Being accountable and responsible for ensuring all activities in the Pharmaceutics analytical laboratory are performed to meet Health Canada, FDA and ICH requirements.Leading and participating in the development and validation of analytical methods in support of CTAs, NDS and S/NDS for all new products in a timely fashion.Requirements:Bachelor of Science, preferably in Pharmacy, Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry, plus two years of study at the graduate level (e.g., Masters in Science).Minimum requirement is three to five years of experience in a pharmaceutical / research laboratory with strong R&D ability with at least 4 years in analytical method development.Strong working knowledge and proficiency on analytical method development.Thorough understanding of analytical equipment, such as UPLCHPLC, UV and automated dissolution systems is essential.Excellent presentation and scientific/technical report writing skillsDemonstrates successful problem solving skills.Good understanding of TPD, FDA and ICH regulatory guidelinesJob Ref: CA7677WC000018 Submitted: 13-03-2015 11:15 AM
