Attention Teachers/Tutors/Educators: Sylvan Learning Centre is currently looking to hire passionate teachers/tutors for all grades but especially those who are qualified to teach Grades 9-12 Math and Science for our Oakville location in Southern Ontario.If you like to inspire students, then we want you on our team! You will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given the academic tools to teach at our centreAs a successful Instructor, you will teach Sylvan programs, assist with homework, interact with and motivate students, evaluate and document student progress, and communicate student needs to directorsWe currently have specific needs for teachers in the primary and junior divisions, but all passionate teachers are encouraged to apply.You will inspire students by developing a rapport with them and establishing a fun learning environment, maintaining a positive attitude, and demonstrating enthusiasm for teaching and for Sylvan.This is a part-time position starting with two to three shifts per weekFlexible shifts are availableOur operating hours are 3pm- 8pm on weeknights, 9am-2pm on Saturdays, and 10am-3pm on Sundays.If you meet the above criteria please submit resumes by applying online or by calling (905) 526-7323Requirements:Must hold a Bachelor of Education degree.Must be an Ontario Certified (OCT) teacher.
