We are currently looking for Instructors and E-Learning Product Programmers to join our existing team at the Canadian Forces School of Communications and Electronics (CFSCE)Located at the Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Kingston, our team provides training to Communications Occupations, including Electronics and Information Systems Training.Calian Instructors and Programmers will be required to develop, deliver and evaluate a range of training courses (i.eCIS, Cryptography, Networks, Electronics, and Line) for the Canadian Forces.Conducts needs assessments, performance analysis and cause analysis and make recommendationsAssist in specifying the required training and education outcomes in terms of essential on-job performanceSpecify Performance Objectives (PO), Education Objective (EdO) and Learning Objectives (LO)Produce Qualification Standards (QS) and Knowledge standardsDescribe and select an instructional programProduce learning instructional materialsEvaluate instructional materials for possibility of conversion to eLearning in whole or in part and provide cost estimates of level of effort to convert legacy courseware to eLearningPrepare work plans, schedules and progress reports summarizing work completed to date, planned work and the identification of any problems, risks or impediments to successful task completionDevelop and maintain proficiency and currency with the knowledge, skills and competencies specifiedIdentify background content, including identifying source material and reference items, such as books, periodicals, CD/DVD's, and on-line media; that will contribute to the development of new and enhanced course contentProvide technical advice and guidance including identifying possible exercise scenarios, providing recommendations for knowledge tests and defining, configuring and testing network infrastructure required to conduct exercisesDevelop or revise lesson plans, instructional material and training aidsDevelop or revise courseware based on input from the Project AuthorityDeliver the training in accordance with the course Lesson Plan, using appropriate Adult Education techniquesProvide feedback and recommendations to the Project Authority as part of the lessons learned process including recommending changes to course curriculum, exam questions, or exam formatDeliverables may include but are not limited to diagrams, reports and documents dealing with the related subject matter content, Course Feedback Report and related documentsThe qualifications:A university degree from an institution recognized by the Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials (CICIC) in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or in a related field (If the degree is in a related field, the Bidder must demonstrate the relevance of the degree to the proposed work)A minimum of 5 years of related employment experience related to this field (i.enot necessarily as an Instructor)A minimum of 3 years' experience in Instructing in the identified categoryORA post- secondary certificate or diploma in Instruction or Education (either must be related to adult learning)A minimum of 7 years' experience in Instructing in the identified categoryORA college diploma (in any field) or university degree (in any field)A minimum of 9 years of related employment experience (i.enot necessarily as an Instructor)A minimum of 3 years' experience in Instructing in the identified categoryORAchieved the rank of Warrant Officer, Master Warrant Officer or CaptainA minimum of 7 years' experience in Instructing in the identified categoryANDMust have a minimum of one hundred and twenty (120) training days within the last three (3) years in Instructing in the identified subject area.Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience (not as an Instructor) in the identified subject area.Government of Canada Level II Secret Security clearance granted and approved by PWGSCType of Assignment: Contract, full time Options: Apply for this job onlineRefer a friend to this job
