Clinton International College is a boutique high school emphasizing student care and engagement Clinton is conveniently located in the heart of North York, beside the Yonge/Sheppard subwayClinton is currently looking for an experienced, bright, and enthusiastic COPE Test Teacher to teach COPE Test Preparation to Grade 9-12 students aspiring to study at the University of Toronto or improve on their English writing and grammarTeachers must possess the following 3 attributes 1) able to inspire students to learn 2) are positive and enthusiastic 3) patient and engaging.Availability:Be able to start October, weekday evening hours and some weekends.Qualifications: Ontario Certified Teachers (OCT) preferred, but will consider teachers/tutor with excellent teaching approach and 2+ years successful COPE Test teaching experience Must be have experience with COPE Test materials Outstanding expertise in specified subject and ability to provide effective experiential learning Enthusiastic and positive attitude, highly responsible; able to motivate and inspire students Responsible and passionate about teaching Able to help students with diverse educational backgrounds and learning abilitiesJob Description: Teach COPE Test Curriculum at a high level of proficiency Assess and identify students' individual learning needs Be able to help students improve their testing skills and results Teach students using a variety of techniques: lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations Assign and correct homework, provide feedback to contribute to students' progress.
