Director, Brand Education at AllState, ON

As a senior member of the Allstate Brand management team, the Director is accountable for providing input to the establishment of the Allstate Brand business strategies and objectives; identifying, recommending, developing, and executing Allstate Brand specific education, training, development, and compliance processes and programs, including sales training, sales management training, and technology training, to ensure all required and integral components of the education, training and development network are aligned, integrated and synchronized to support the achievement of expected business results.The successful candidate will accomplish this by:Identifying, recommending, developing, implementing and evaluating the effectiveness of the training, education and development of Brand leaders, managers and front-line staff, to build and enhance internal capability to deliver Brand target resultsDesigning, delivering and evaluating the effectiveness of all Agent-specific education, training and development programs, to ensure programs are building and enhancing required skills, knowledge, capabilities and competenceIdentifying, developing, implementing and monitoring customization of all Agency tools, and ensuring users are trained and that they are utilizing provided tools to implement local market strategies, which drive required business resultsSelecting, developing and managing a capable team of direct reports.Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Brand Education function by selecting, developing and managing a team capable of effectively carrying out Brand strategies, and ensure appropriate managerial and leadership practices within the functionCoordinate with required functions within ACG to ensure all new programs are developed and delivered in a professional, integrated manner to ensure clear and thorough understanding and result in a seamless implementationDevelop, implement and maintain preventative and detective control mechanisms and processes to ensure compliance with overall ACG and regulatory, legal and ethical policies and requirements and to ensure adequate mitigation of risks.Minimum Education and Experience RequirementsMinimum of a university undergraduate degree in Adult Education and Learning with solid background in adult learning principles;Minimum of 10 years business experience with at least five years in a functional assignment in a related field such as sales orunderwriting, as well as a minimum of five years̢۪ experience in adult learning;Proven ability to evaluate and measure effectiveness and ROI of development and training programs;Demonstrated advanced level facilitation skillsProven skills in developing effective education materials to drive resultsExcellence in interpersonal and collaboration skills to support colleagues and peers across the organizationProven track record of producing training interventions, including: needs analysis, design, development, delivery and post-event follow-up to ensure objectives are being met and skills/knowledge transfer occursProven ability to develop organizational talent through effective leadership strategies and performance management practicesDemonstrated coaching and development skillsParticipation in industry education focused committees/groups and a CIP designation would assets.
