Mundo Peetabeck Education Authority is accepting application for the following position(s) Woodwork Teacher Required Qualifications: Must have Ontario Teaching Certificate (OCT) Desired Qualifications: Training and experience teaching Industrial Arts (Woodwork, metalwork, other) Experience working in an area of traditional arts (carving, drafting, etc.) Strong planning skills (lesson, project, unit and year plans) Able to develop and teach a project-based program of learning Classroom management skills; able to create a positive learning environment Current safety training Cross-cultural experience and training Knowledge of literacy / language instruction strategies Able to integrate Native traditional values into program Willingness to engage students outside the classroom Knowledge of and experience with Ontario current assessment methods Training and experience providing differentiated instruction in an inclusive environmentDeadline for this posting is November 14, 2014
