Language Arts Teacher at Edenbrook Learning Centres, ON

We are currently in search of Elementary and Middle School Language teachers As a member of the team you will be working with other OCT Full Time Teachers and the Centre's Co-ordinator providing tutorial services for students from Kindergarten through to Grade 8Main Duties: Tutor assigned students in academic subjects and study skills, either individually or in study groups Create, research and obtain curriculum and tutorial tools that suit the needs of students. Maintaining records on each student being tutored. Helping students develop self-confidence in performing academic work.Qualifications: OCT qualified teacher Experience related to Ontario Language and Social Studies Curriculum. Experience related to Ontario Math and Science are an assetAdditional Skills: Ability to work with people from various disciplines and cultures. Ability to assume responsibility, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to problem solve. Time management and organizational skills.
